PALMA is going to be the headquarters of the Baleares Crossover Golf Club, the first of its kind in Spain, and in association with the Balearic Golf Federation and the Fundacion Handisport Mallorca, will be holding the island's first Crossover Golf Weekend next month.

The golf weekend will take place on April 8, 9 and 10 and feature three different golf courses and various challenges.
The tournament is open to people of all ages and all standards and promises to be an exciting and innovative weekend.

The three golf “courses” are going to be the urban courses in Palma with three holes. One featuring a “monster” putt along the Paseo Maritimo, a hole on the beach and a put in the Parc de la Mar. The “Hills Up” courses will be hosted by the Arabella Golf Club featuring a nine hole pitch and put and a “Monster” seven holes for the power hitters. The third course, Son Antem, will he hosting the “Chill out” course of four obstacle holes.

Organisers say this is the first of many similar golfing events they intend to host in Majorca.
