Costitx yesterday celebrated its annual May 1 flower fair.
Thousands of people headed to the small town yesterday to enjoy the vast flower show in which the entire town gets involved.
There were flower displays which had been put together by local residents but the event is also used by the large garden centres and professional landscape gardeners to showcase their skills to the general public.

In the main square was a giant mural on which children were encouraged to paint a picture while there was also an exhibition of vintage Vespa scooters.
