Balearics offers most summer jobs

THE Balearic Islands is the region of Spain which will offer most jobs this summer, said temporary employment agency Randstad. This year, because of the economic crisis with companies trying to cut costs, there will be less positions available than in recent years, said Randstad, but the sectors which are searching for applicants remain the same - Tourism, the Service sector, and Industry. The Balearics is leading in the field, they confirmed, and especially in Tourism but contracts are expected to be shorter this year. The Islands are ahead of the region of Aragon where Logistics and Transport head the temporary job register, and of the Basque Country and Navarre who are active in the Service industry and Hostelry.
