STAFF REPORTER THE Moscow Ballet Company will be returning to the Balearics in August with two of its most well-known performances: Giselle and Swan Lake. They will take place between 16 and 21 August on a company tour through Majorca, Minorca and Ibiza.

The Ballet's appearance in the Balearics is part of a new tour that it is undertaking through Spain, as always, incorporating the finest soloists in Russia.

Giselle will be enacted on 16th August at Can Ventosa on Ibiza; on 18th August, Swan Lake will be performed at the Auditorium in Palma; 20th August, Swan Lake will be on stage at the Auditorium in Alcudia, and finally, Giselle will be showing at the Teatro Principal at Mahon on Minorca.

The Moscow Ballet, directed by choreographer Timur Fayziev, was founded in 1989. It is made up of some of Russia's finest dancers and choreographers such as those who perform with the Bolshoi and the Stanislavsky Ballets. Today the Moscow Ballet is one of the most important dance companies in Russia.
