Palma.—Heavy industrial machinery and forensic scientists began searching a septic tank on an estate in Lloseta yesterday as part of the search for the Brazilian woman who was last seen five years ago.

It is thought that the missing woman was murdered in Inca in 2006 but her body has never been recovered.
Yesterday, the Lloseta property the Guardia Civil and forensics spent six hours searching, including draining the septic tank, apparently belongs to one of the “clans” which live in the drug-riddled shanty town of Son Banya on the outskirts of Palma.

Police, however, are still not ruling out further developments in the ongoing investigation and search for the body.
