Palma.—The concert is scheduled to be held at the bull ring in Palma on 3rd August at 8.30pm.
The bagpipe trio Hevia hailing from the region of Asturias is made up of Jose Angel Hevia, Maria Jose Hevia and Dina Majados. The trio have been creating their own spectaculars in a tour which has taken them to more than 40 countries. Their musical excellence has resulted in the sale of over two-and-a-half million albums.

They are not new to the musical scene and having fine-tuned their bagpipe-playing art to such an inspirational degree, are now international icons of their style.

Jose Angel Hevia, born in Asturias in 1967, brought the traditional instrument firmly into the limelight during his early years of music-making and later developed the particular sound of the bagpipes so that they could be blended into other styles of music.

A legend in their time
Hevia's unbroken agenda of concerts now include those which pay tribute to Celtish sounds, pop, jazz, and even religious events such as the celebrated Christmas Concert held at the Vatican in 2001.

Hevia has 15 gold discs and 12 silver ones to his name.
The pride of place which Hevia has come to take in the bagpipe-playing world, nicely complements the expertise of Irish musicians and traditional dancers who have banded together under the title of Celtic Legends.

Their contribution to the spectacular in August is firmly based on the best loved sights and sounds of Irish cultural entertainment.
Commentators are already describing the forthcoming concert as a “magical Celtic evening.” Tickets start at the price of 40 euros.
