British artist's Majorcan bar scene is top UK art magazine's travel drawing of the month

FORMER Pollensa resident and regular visitor to Majorca, artist Jill Carter, has one of her Majorcan bar scene sketches published in this month's edition of the leading British magazine Artists & Illustrators.

One of the regular columnists and artists was wondering in last month's edition if any of his readers kept “visual” diaries with sketches or paintings of their travels and Jill Carter, who has been putting together a large collection of Majorcan bar scenes, as well as watercolour landscapes, over the years replied by submitting one of her many sketches which has been subsequently published in this month's edition.
