Police investigating the case of the dead baby found in a rubbish bin in Palma yesterday, are said to be considering whether the baby died of a natural abortion. A 29 year old Spanish female approached a medical centre over the weekend saying she was feeling poorly and confirmed she had given birth to a dead baby and later disposed of the body to hide the pregnancy from her family. The woman was seven months pregnant when she gave birth. Police said there were no signs of violence and there was a chance the baby was already dead at birth. The autopsy will be carried out this week.
