Orchestra joins protest concert against cuts

Palma.—Twenty three orchestras from all over Spain, including the Balearic Symphony Orchestra, participated in a simultaneous protest concert spread across 16 cities all over the country, including Palma on Monday.

Hundreds of people gathered in Plaza d’Espanya and joined the orchestra to sing and protest against the rise in cultural taxes and the cuts implemented by the government.
