THE board of the Fundacion Tren de l'Art yesterday named Rogelio Araújo as the new Director of the Can Prunera Museum of Modernist Art in Soller.
The Soller-born Bachelor of Fine Arts, Antonia Maria Miró, has also been named as the museum's Director of Public Affairs.
Rogelio Araújo has a degree in Business Studies and served as the Palma City Councillor for Culture from 2003 to 2007.
He has also been President of the Fundacion Pilar y Joan Miró and the Es Baluard Museum of Contemporary Art in Palma and the board of the Fundacion Tren de l'Art is confident that Araújo's wealth of experience in the world of culture will lead to great success as Director of Can Prunera which was yesterday visited by the Balearic Minster for Tourism, Miguel Nadal, and the Palma City Councillor, Cristina Cerdó.

They were given a guided tour of the museum by the President of the Fundacion Tren de l'Art, the Chairman of the Grup Serra media Group, Pedro Serra.
