A van, two cars and two motorbikes torched in Palma

Palma.A fire started by a scooter sparked panic in calle General Ricardo Ortega in Palma in the early hours of yesterday morning. The exact cause of the blaze remains to be confirmed but the fire quickly spread to a nearby delivery van and another motorbike.

The fire broke out at 4am and spread quickly, torching two cars parked close by.
Within minutes neighbours called the police and flooded into the street as it was lit up by the flames. Fortunately the fire brigade was quickly on the scene and contained the blaze within minutes preventing it from causing any further damage.
