THE road widening scheme which began some twelve months ago between the villages of Calvia and Capdella continues to become more dangerous by the day as earth movers and road surfacing vehicles tear up the existing road leaving stretches of rough terrain and varying levels in their wake. The residents of both villages are up in arms about the road works and want some answers. Why do two relatively small villages need a link road of such magnitude and who is funding this unnecessary work?
