INCA
TWO Ecuadorians were sent to prison yesterday at a court in Inca after confessing to killing a Galician vagrant, Agustin Gonzalez Martinez at an abandoned restaurant premises in Alcudia in June this year.

Hugo Wilson and his sister Ladia will remain in prison until they stand trial whilst a Colombian man was given a conditional discharge for his part in covering up the killing.

The three accused, also vagrants, had lived with the victim at the site, and Ladia had many years ago had a relationship with the victim.
On 17th June, the two Ecuadorians and the Columbian had told police that Agustin Gonzalez had fallen down a set of stairs in the dark at the abandoned restaurant following an argument.

The three claimed that the victim had been killed by a blow to the head but Guardia Civil forensic scientists were later able to show that he had died after being bludgeoned with a blunt instrument.

The accused were arrested four days ago.
