Palma.—The accident involving three vehicles happened just before 10.15am along the Sa Pobla to Alcudia road.
According to the police, the Guardia Civil van collided with a kamikaze driver who was heading along the road in the wrong direction, provoking a head on collision with the Guardia Civil van.

All three of the victims were taken to Inca Hospital, one of the members of the Guardia Civil had to be cut free.
The driver of the BMW remained in hospital last night but under arrest.
He apparently admitted to having been drinking.

Blood tests were taken from the suspect yesterday and the results are expected today.
