Palma.—The National Police yesterday arrested the owner of a fruit shop in Palma under the suspicion that he deliberately set fire to his business in order to claim the insurance cover.
The fire broke out in the shop, located not far away from the Sant Ferran Local Police station, at 6.15am last Thursday.
Two passers by saw smoke coming out of the shop and called the emergency services.
