Palma—The Balearics are currently experiencing yet another heat wave, worthy of the best Summer seasons, with temperatures reaching up to 8 degrees more than usual for this time of the year, the meteorological department reported yesterday.
Maria Guerrero, one of the delegates for the department said that no records have yet been broken in Majorca although temperatures in Portocolom reached up to 30,1 degrees, the highest ever recorded in October in the area. Hundreds of tourists, visitors and residents flocked to beaches and parks to enjoy this unusually late Summer weather.
