IT was the biggest day of her life for six-year-old Julia Mulet, chosen to represent the Beateta (Majorca's only saint, Sta Catalina Tomas).
In the morning, accompanied by the local authorities, including Mayor of Palma Catalina Cirer, she attended Mass at the church of Santa Maria Magdalena, the convent where the saint took her vows as a nun, and where her body is preserved. This was followed by Majorcan dancing in the convent cloisters.
Julia also rode in the main float in the colourful parade which took place in Palma yesterday evening.
