Palma.—Since the Partido Popular returned to power in 2011, the Balearics’ budget for tourism promotion has been cut by nearly 50 percent and for next year, the Ministry for Tourism will have 75 million euros, 7.5 percent more than last year but well over 50 percent less than the Ministry would have handled some four years ago.
Nevertheless, the President of the Balearics Jose Ramon Bauza and the Balearic Minister for Tourism, Carlos Delgado, yesterday unveiled next year’s promotional campaign.
