THE seven-year-old British girl seriously injured when she fell from the balcony of the fifth floor hotel room she was sharing with her mother in Calas de Mallorca on October 24 is understood to have been taken off her ventilator and now breathing unaided.
According to Son Dureta hospital sources, she continues in a stable but serious condition.
However, hospital sources would not comment on whether she continued in a drug-induced coma which is preventing the police from talking to her about the fall.
The seven-year-old's mother was found drowned in the sea just metres from the hotel two days after the accident.
Police are still investigating events leading up to the fall and the only person with the answers is the seven-year-old.
