The national and regional economies may still be struggling under the weight of the crisis but it does appear that they seem to be winning the war.

Palma.—November’s unemployment figures made  encouraging reading for the Balearics and the country as  a whole - suggesting that the country’s economy may be about to turn the corner and, as the Bulletin reported yesterday - start emerging from the crisis at the end of 2014 or the beginning of 2015.
The Ministry for Employment and Social Security yesterday reported that although there was a month-on-month increase in the number of people out of work in the Balearics during November, the year-on-year figures are much more positive.
