Tribute to Robert Graves

THE 25th anniversary of the British poet and writer Robert Graves, who spent most of his adult life in Deya where he died and is buried, was celebrated in Palma and Deya yesterday.

A programme of special events was organised by the Balearic University and the Robert Graves Foundation with activities taking place in Palma and Deya.
Yesterday morning, it was open doors at Can Alluny, where Robert Graves lived, worked and entertained in Deya while there was a series of lectures, discussions and the screening of the documentary “The Inner World”. Last night, the commemorations ended with a conference “Robert Graves and the long legendary journey of the Argonauts.”
