Tourism boss admits that despite record figures, it has been a mixed year

Palma.—A record high in foreign tourist arrivals, which could reach near  60 million by the end of the year, and domestic  tourism marked by apathy are the two trends that have characterised the Spanish tourism sector this year.
“It was a year of lights and shadows ,” the president of the Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodation ( CEHAT ), Juan Molas  said yesterday.
