STAFF REPORTER REGIONAL Health Minister, Vicenç Thomas met up yesterday with his counterpart in Central Government, Trinidad Jimenez, to discuss reviewing the impact on public health of the planned integral reform of the Playa de Palma.

Thomas explained that in major urban reconstruction projects such as the one at hand, care has to be taken that decisions taken by senior ministers unrelated to the Health industry do not have unintended consequences for the public. He and Jimenez will be making recommendations on health and education aspects of the Playa de Palma reform to Central Government.
