Palma de Majorca.—Toasting the Christmas season at government offices in Palma yesterday with ministerial colleagues, the Balearic President José Ramón Bauzà, said that to emerge from the current economic crisis, it was important that everyone “in the boat” should be rowing “in the same direction”.

Accompanied in his address by regional Finance Minister José Ignasi Aguiló, Bauzà claimed that he and his team were working with the same dedication and responsibility that they assumed on first taking up office six months ago. “We've got to look to the future now,” said Bauzà. “The more that people of the Balearics contribute to our society, the better it will be for everyone.”
