Neighbours protest against works on Albercuix beach

A group of neighbours from the Moll in Pollensa yesterday accused the local council of “deception” when it comes to the “artificial regeneration” of Albercuix beach in the area between Hotel Daina and the military base. The national and local police, alongside with the coast guard (Costas) were called up to the area yesterday after they were warned about the angry locals.
Mayor Bartomeu Cifre assured “the land works being carried by Moll’s neighbours association to prepare the beaches for the Summer season, have been approved by the council.”
