Six days after the body of a dead woman was found on the beach in Can Picafort, she has finally been identified and her husband arrested as the prime suspect.

Palma.—The body of 39-year-old Ukrainian Olha Yuriyiuan was found near a clump of rocks just  metres from the seashore on Son Baulo beach at 8am last Friday morning by a local resident out for an early  walk.
The Guardia Civil and the National Police homicide squad were in charge of the investigation and, while there was no form of identification found about the body, it was quickly confirmed that the cause of death was suffocation, despite the victim also having suffered a severe blow to the head, and that the body had been dragged some 100 metres along the beach. What is more, the time of death was estimated to have been between 30 minutes and an hour before the body was found.
