Two men were sentenced to a total of over 17 years in jail yesterday for the violent assault on a property in Cas Catala in the early hours of the Three Kings, last year.

Palma.—The two Romanians aged 38 and 32 were sentenced by the Balearic High Court to eight years, three months and one day and nine years in jail respectively.
They have also been ordered to pay fines of 360 euros each and compensation to their victim of nearly 30,000 euros.
The High Court found the two men guilty of having broken into the Cas Catala property at 00.30 on the day of the Three Kings, 6 January, last year.
A third man is suspected of having been involved, but he is yet to be located and detained.
One of the two managed to gain access to the roof and break open the gate to the terrace which enabled him  to enter the property.
Once inside, he  surprised the lone female inhabitant who he  attacked and threatened to kill.
He  then covered her head and tied her feet and hands to a chair before using his mobile to call the other two  and give them the all clear to enter the building.
