A 47-year-old Spanish woman was stabbed to death in Felanitx yesterday and last night police were holding her ex-partner.

According to police yesterday the stabbing took place at the man´s home in Felanitx just before noon. The woman lived in a house nearby and the reasons why she had visited the home of her ex-partner are still unclear.

The 47-year-old woman, identified only as I.B.G. was stabbed once in the chest. Her former partner, named only as N.G.C. was being questioned by police in connection with the incident last night.
