The Minister for Tourism, Jaime Martinez, said yesterday that an agreement has been reached to reform the sea front in Cala Rajada.
The total cost of the project is going to be 491,721 euros and will involve the complete repaving of the sea front, the relandscaping of the walk way and the removal of any barriers which make it difficult for the disabled.
The Cala Rajada improvement and refurbishment project is just one of 28 which have been given the green light by the Ministry for Tourism to improve a number of Majorcan holiday resorts.
Work on some of them began earlier this year and all are expected to be completed during the course of next year.
