November is a big month for the Bulletin because not only are we holding our annual golf tournament we will be heading to London for the World Travel Market fair at Excel in Docklands armed with a 40-page supplement which underlines the very best of Majorca.

The extra, which will also be distributed with the Bulletin next Sunday in Majorca, contains a wide range of features on the island ranging from sport in Calvia to a What's On guide for the year ahead and also a guide on local food.

The special will be available from the Balearic stand at the World Travel Market from Monday, 7 November and also at other key areas in London. The Bulletin wants to give the Balearic promotion drive in London some additional help.

The special consists of the following:

- Sport in Calvia: from beach rugby to cycling and football by Humphrey Carter.

- The changing face of Magalluf: Andrew Ede gives an update on the recent improvements which have been to the resort and all the investment which has been made.

- Palma convention centre: Gabriel Escarrer, chief executive of Meliá Hotels International, gives an update on Palma's Palacio de Congresos. His company has recently been awarded the contract to manage the hotel in the complex.

- What's On guide: Christina Buchet and Andrew Ede highlight the big What's On events for the year ahead on the island.

- Best food: Andrew Valente highlights the best local dishes and the joys of visiting local markets.

- Majorca Days Out: Andrew Rawson gives an insight into local excursions and historic places.

- Boating joys: Our Nauti Lady, Sarah Drane, gives an insight into the local nautical industry and the joys of sailing.
