Briton Stewart Draper received a pleasant surprise when he arrived yesterday at Palma airport. Accompanied by his wife and daughter, the easyJet frequent flyer was greeted by the airline's director for Spain and Portugal, Javier Gándara, and the airport's director, José Antonio Álvarez. The reason for the greeting was that he was easyJet's 20 millionth passenger since the airline started its Palma routes in 1997.

Mr. Draper and his family had flown from Liverpool, and he was given a gift voucher for travel on the airline's European network. "It was a surprise. We have been Majorca on holiday more than twenty times. It was in fact where we came for our honeymoon 29 years ago. We simply love the island's nature and the pleasant and unhurried pace of life."
