The Friday report from the Balearic health ministry indicates one more fatality and 139 new positive cases, ninety-eight of these in Majorca. The positive test rate is 5.01%, the 139 cases being based on 2,774 tests.

Nineteen more people have left hospital, while a further 350 have recovered. There are 210 patients on wards in Majorca and 48 in Ibiza; there are none in Minorca. In intensive care units, there are 61 patients in Majorca, seven in Ibiza and none in Minorca.

A week ago there were 2,772 tests and 200 new positive cases. The trend with new cases per day is down. Two weeks ago the number was 317.
