There's at least 4 centimetres of snow on Puig Major, the highest peak in the Serra de Tramuntana and more snow is expected on Saturday above 800-900 metres.

@rbmeteonews has tweeted some amazing video of snow on Puig de Massanella.

29.3 litres of rainwater per m2 fell in Escorca, 23.8 litres per m2 in Puerto Pollensa and 14.4 litres per m2 in Sierra de Alfabia according to the State Meteorological Agency, Aemet.

There are no alerts in effect for Saturday but the temperature has dropped to 12º and most places will be overcast with intermittent heavy rain, thunder and lighting and hailstorms throughout the day, but with a bit of luck it should dry up by late afternoon.
