The interior ministry has today (Friday) posted a resolution in the Official Bulletin of State which says that from midnight on February 14, travellers under 18 from the UK will no longer need to have the complete vaccination schedule and will only need to present a negative PCR test carried out 72 hours before arrival.
The ministry's statement adds that vaccination is a key instrument for combatting the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to promote vaccination and to link this to facilitating international mobility, it was included as one of the categories exempt from restrictions. "However, in many countries there are difficulties or even the impossibility of obtaining the vaccine for use in the population under 18 years of age. Consequently, it is considered appropriate to establish specific conditions for these people."

I know plenty of people who have suffered losses of loved ones, friends and family, including within my own circles. This isn't even disputable. It's a matter of historical record. Do you think "they" made this all up? If so, you're giving "them" much too much credit. To successfully execute such a worldwide secret conspiracy would actually require *your* participation. You may not have noticed, but you're actually exhibiting the very behaviour of "them". Luckily, the overwhelming majority of us know better.
Tranq lets not grasp at straws about "their vs there" to try and prove a non-point. @Fred - even with all of our fights (er, debates?) on here I am very sorry to hear you had a rough go of it. Every BODY is different, that is certain - in fact everyone has a different experience with the flu each year too...many die, sadly, and most live on with varied experiences of severity of the flu. Again, I do hope that you recover from the rashes. There are lots of amazing diets that are coming up for detoxing from the side effects both from a bad bout with covid and also with detoxing for those who had negative side effects from the vaccine (as we see...every body is different and can react also to the vaccine). Hope everyone either STAYS healthy or GETS healthy. @MajorcaDaily - I'd call on you to start doing a weekly healthy, anti-inflammatory, cholesterol friendly recipe that folks can use to maintain their health. We are towards the end of this everyone, keep your heads up.

Oh crazy Angry Fred is back saying black is red. I'm 42 had it before Christmas UNVACCINATED as all my family are, and we were all fine felt tired for afew days. (And we had Delta). Everybody needs to move on. It's divisive and unnecessary. Natural immunity is something that people don't seem to grasp. It's 6 times more effective than the vaccine and antibodies are still strong 2 years later. The booster was pointless against Omicron. And Fred proves the vaccine is pointless by how sick he was. 3 pricks of snake oil and he still got ill. DROP THE 🎤
I think Norma hit the nail on the head. I can sympathise with Fred and am glad he is doing better but from personal experience we all got it about 2 weeks ago and luckily it was a matter of one uncomfortable night and that is about it. Nothing more and nothing less. I have had flus and colds that were much worse and I am also in my 40s like Fred. Having said that and to Norma’s point everyone that I know who was vaccinated and also got it seem to have had a much more severe reaction and a longer time to recovery although luckily almost nobody was hospitalised. So it is time to start asking the questions nobody wants to ask…
James, I get your gut feeling comment, but Spain will not lose anything. As Spain will always be Spain. And yes, I agree they are backwards and things are badly organised, etc. But that is no differerent from 5, 10 or 15 years ago. That is the charm and the reason lots of people want to live here, rather than over-organised, big brother placea like the UK, Holland, Germany, etc. It will all blow over and the sun will keep shining here.
I agree James. I am shocked by their stubbornness. Why are they not learning from other countries that are further on with this virus than they are? They do not need to suffer with restrictions and further damage to their economy. Other countries have done the suffering for them!
It is well noted now that it is the vaccinated who are getting Covid, not the unvaccinated. Some scientific studies put the rate of the vaccinated contracting Covid at seven times the rate of those vaccine free, and suggest that this is because the vaccines actually are damaging human immune systems, thus making the vaccinated susepitcal to infections of all kinds. Also we are seeing an horrendous rise in vaccine damge, with children now subject to heart attack and strokes - previously unheard of.
The only begging I've seen is Brits begging to come back with no restrictions. Yet tourism is set to be booming this year anyway. Not sure why anybody should be begging you.
to call this flu after the millions of deaths across the world is disgusting and incredibly disrepectful to the loved ones of those people. Grow up
