Oscar Díaz, scorer of Mallorca's equaliser. | Paco Martín

Cadiz 1 - Real Mallorca 1
Mallorca started brightly away in Cadiz but a typical failure to create and convert opportunities saw Cadiz come more into the match during the first half. Company brought down ex-Mallorca striker Ortuño in the area, and Ortuño fired the penalty kick home after 28 minutes.

In the second period Mallorca pressed for an equaliser and it came after 66 minutes through Oscar Díaz. Both sides then made chances, and as the game became tenser towards the end, Company was sent off for a second yellow offence.
