The second Bulletin Golf Cup which took place at the Camp de Mar course in Andratx on Sunday proved to be a huge success. Rain had been forecast for most of the day but Lady Luck was on our side and the rain stayed clear until the tournament was in its closing stages.

This year, Britain and Germany shared the main prize. Juerg Walker and Gregory Schlomsky were the overall winners, with the prizes being presented by Carmen Serra, president of Grup Serra, publishers of the Bulletin, and Heidi Stadler, chief executive of First Mallorca.

The prize-giving cermony took place at the Campino restaurant, where lunch was also served. Jaguar cars from Quality Centre and a helicopter from Balearic Helicopters, landing and taking off on the greens, made the day even more extra special. The tombola with prizes donated by a large number local companies proved to be exceptionally popular. It was a good idea enjoyed by all.
