Looking ahead, a day makes a difference with forecasts. The 35C that had been predicted for Saturday has come down to 31, which will also be likely on Thursday and Friday. Saturday is looking as though it may be fairly cloudy, and then Sunday and Monday do appear as if they will bring the change that the met agency has been forecasting - the arrival of an Atlantic front with some rain and a drop in temperatures. Rain probability for Sunday is currently around 55%; a bit higher on Monday.

Also on Sunday, the breezes that have been negligible for many days are due to pick up from the southwest.
