There hasn't been snow of any significance in the Tramuntana Mountains since the start of March, the first snow having fallen in the third week of January. Several weeks on and despite the warm weather, there are still isolated reminders of a winter when snow was so heavy that it reached a depth of three metres on the top of the Puig Major.
