The fiestas really crank up now. The feast day for Sant Joan is Saturday. There is Palma's Nit de Foc with ten demons' gangs on the Friday night. Deya's correfoc is on Sunday. Sant Pere fiestas start in Puerto Alcudia on Thursday; Sant Marçal in Marratxi on Friday. The Hairy Johns are out in Felanitx, Sant Joan and Sant Llorenç on Saturday. For World Music Day (Wednesday) there are two major free, open-air events in Palma. Tinie Tempah is in Magalluf on Tuesday.

The summer fiestas are now with us. The Sant Joan Fiestas are the first major ones, and Muro gets things off with a real bang on Friday night with a demons' spectacular. The BH Mallorca season in Magalluf gets under way on Thursday with Steve Aoki. The excellent Summer Pie weekend of indie/folk rock returns to Es Baluard, and The Beach Boys are at Son Fusteret on Sunday.
