The Soller trams are a great tourist attraction. But if you are tourists in a car anywhere near a tram, you need to take care. On Sunday a BMW with tourists collided with one of them.

Emergency services went to the scene. There were no injuries. The impact wasn't great; there was only minor damage to the car's bodywork.

There were traffic delays while the track was cleared and the road was treated because of an oil spill from the car.

The causes of the accident are being investigated, but police point out that as the tram was on the track, it was all pretty obvious - the driver of the BMW had accidentally collided with the tram.

For years there were never accidents between cars and the Soller tram. Nowadays more and more Thank you to all stupid one -day visitors of the valley/ the port. Stay where you are are , we do not need you in Soller or Port Soller
