It was not alone among Mallorcan municipalities in having been declared a “vila” by King Jaume II at the turn of the fourteenth century, but Capdepera makes the most of this mediaeval connection by holding an annual Mediaeval Market.

What's going on this weekend in Mallorca

Seventh edition of the Farmers' Market coming to Puerto Portals
During the first weekend of May, the 7th edition of the Farmers' Market will once again fill the boulevard of Puerto Portals with food stands, local crafts, plants and ceramics, as well as exhibitions of typical Mallorcan dances.
