Soller experiences an intense battle reenactment and secures another victory
The Saracen troops managed to land around 5pm near Can Generós beach. One of the most anticipated events of this Firó, it attracted a large crowd that didn’t want to miss this legendary landing. Despite worrying weather forecasts, which warned of possible heavy showers in the area, the rain never materialised throughout the day, and the programme went ahead as planned.

This week there are fairs in Campanet (May fair), Campos (Cow fair), Lloret de Vistalegre (May fair), Pollensa (Wine fair), Soller (Moors and Christians) and fiestas in Son Carrió (Sant Miquel). On Saturday, Palmanova will celebrate Europe Day plus Real Mallorca play at Son Moix in the afternoon.
